Artist/ Director statement:

During this project, we encountered many different problems especially in the creative process, because everyone is talented, ambitious, and has creative ideas waiting to come true. We had arguments about the animation technique, when everyone has a beloved animation style they prefer and wish to demonstrate. Considering that no one technique can surpass the others, we decided to let young animators explore their preferred and comfortable way of animating and push the boundaries of themselves further. Finally, we agreed to present our animation though Agumented-Reality methods, while experimenting with collage, mixed media, pixillation, 3D and 2D painting, creating rich visual effects. The content is focussing on the process of the argument itself with an open ending. We left the question to the audience, ‘which technique you think is best and worth trying in a group project?’ In fact, the ending is a response to industry demands for diversity and proves the overcomplication of discussing major or minor genres of artistic style. Overall, every types of artistic style and technique could show together in a same canvas and looking great! As audience viewing our animation through Artvive, they can tuning their phone to see details of each one’s work clearly indifferent angle.
