LogLine: A girl is trying to get more attention from her classmates, does she succeed?

​

Synopsis: This is a girl who wants everyone's attention and admire. Her unique ideas and bold outfits helped her grab the attention of her classmates. But she wasn't satisfied with that. After trying to fake a wrist cut with lipstick and being noticed, she couldn't bear the nasty comments from her classmates and tried to commit suicide by cutting her wrist. Diagnosed with HPD after waking up in the hospital.

Biography

Joshua Rabbit is a furry game programmer from MA Game Design. He loves attending gamejam.

 

Manyu Zhao is a 2D animation and illustrator. She is exploring on combine vibrant colour with handmade textures from 2D screen to various methods in wider context.

 

Zixin Yao is a game designer. She studied games design in postgraduate and computer science in undergraduate.

 

Yiqing Liu is a game designer and visual designer from MA Game Design. She stuied Visual Communication Design in Postgraduate.

 

Dixuan Xu is a game designer and visual designer from MA Game Design. She stuied Games Design in Postgraduate.

Artist/ Director statement

 

We try to draw people’s attention to the HPD community through the game mechanics and the storyline and help them be more understood. We only did secondary research while progressing on this version of the game. We hope to collect more primary data from doctors or patients for the next version. In terms of the game, we plan to further optimise and iterate on the interaction and add more story branches and animations to make the plot more dramatic and exciting.
